Dog box bivvy
Dog box bivvy is an historic hut on the Eyre River in the Eastern Eyre Mountains. it is a 2 bed bivvy but is in no condition for anyone to stay in as per DoC publications HERE
We are looking for someone to take on this hut and give it a bit of a makeover.
this is a historic 2 bunk bivvy that people used way back in the 50’s for deer culling, it has lots of writing on it in pencil that has lasted over time that needs to be preserved.
It needs a new roof, the turf dug away from around the base of the hut, the bottom of the walls renewed, the fire place repaired and the bottom bunk replaced
